Selecting a Suitable Sustainable Construction Method for Australian High-Rise Building: A Multi-Criteria Analysis

The evolution of innovative construction technology and automation has rapidly transformed the industry over last few decades. However, selecting most efficient sustainable for high-rise building is a critical factor in completing project successfully. This requires multiple-judgment-decision process relevant to cost, time, environment, sustainability, quality, etc. Thus, this research aims identify suitable method Australia. Three methods (i.e., automated construction, aluminium formwork off-site construction) robotic are reviewed terms economic, equity environmental performance. A detailed multi-criteria analysis conducted concerning weighting calculated each method, which aids recommending cost-effective method. analytical hierarchy (AHP) used as multi-attribute decision-making tool determine factors. results show that technique significantly improve performance finding based on data obtained from limited number experts. case study with greater expert opinions needed ensure significance finding. AHP-based approach can be select alternatives buildings.
